When someone uses their mental powers to bring something to life that did not previously exist it is said to be an exercise in creativity. This bringing to life of something can involve a new product or a process or even simply a new thought. People that are creatively inclined are able to do some very amazing things such inventing something that never existed previously.
When a person becomes creative it means that they have succeeded in mastering two very important processes which as thinking followed by producing. Being innovative is central to being creative and it involves being able to produce or implement an idea. Ideas by themselves are not worth much; it is only when you act on the idea that you are being creative. Not acting means that you are just being imaginative.
Bringing to the fore a new way of thinking or even looking at things is said to be being creative. Most of us use creativity in the normal course of our lives because we are all constantly changing our ways of thinking about the world in general.
The test of creativity is that if you are able to generate new ideas in a unique way and can choose one option from several competing options you will succeed in generating alternatives and see things differently than what a normal person sees and does.
Creativity helps in making new products and processes and it also aids in improving existing services, products and processes. As a person becomes more creative they will improve themselves, their world, organization and even customers and in this way will make the world a lot happier.
The more we can be creative the more are the chances that the quality of our lives will improve. All it often takes to become creative is to ignite a spark within our minds that will help us to come up with new ideas, things and processes.
